Angler-in-chief

This isn’t a numbers game. You come here to hunt.

Dark, tannin-stained waters, rapids that demand respect and lagoons six or seven kilometers long hidden in the forest. Every strike is earned with patience, and every peacock bass goes back to the water.

Getting here is part of the journey: plane, boat and jungle. We travel with local boat operators and communities who know every current, and we enter their territory with respect.

Adventure and challenge

Trophies

The most tenacious and challenging species of the Colombian Orinoco and Amazon basins. All catch and release.

Nº 01Catch & release Peacock bass

Peacock bass

Famed for vibrant colors and strength, it delivers thrilling fights with leaps and battles. Its aggressive nature and size (10–23 lb) make it the prize for adrenaline seekers.

Nº 02Catch & release Payara

Payara

Occasionally found in deeper, fast-moving sections. Razor-sharp teeth, aggressive strikes and acrobatic runs: not the main target, but always a surprise and a serious test for your gear and reflexes.

Nº 03Catch & release Catfish

Catfish

A powerful predator lurking in the river depths. Prepare for exciting battles against its strength and resilience.

Nº 04Catch & release Hybrid peacock bass

Hybrid peacock bass

For us, these beautiful hybrids are trophies in their own right. Beyond size, it is their extraordinary appearance that makes landing one so memorable.

DelRío River Lodge cabins

Beyond comfort

The DelRío River Lodge was built over two years by local hands with native wood. Private cabins raised above the forest floor, natural ventilation and river views. It’s not luxury. It’s real.
